HOMEPAGE OF THE NORTH CANTON HERITAGE SOCIETY

Annual Meeting will focus on Hoover Vikings Basketball

Memories of the Hoover Vikings' trips to the finals of the Ohio High School Athletic Association Basketball Tournament will be the program for the North Canton Heritage Society's Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 7 p.m.

Members of three teams who made it to the state tournament will be on hand to discuss their experiences of "going to State."  Included will be Andy Logan from the 1985 championship team, Bill Owens from the 1948 team and George Hamilton from the 1949 squad.

The meeting will be held in the Professional Development Room of the North Canton City Schools' Charlotte Building, the former junior/senior high school on Charlotte Street, just off North Main Street.

In addition to the program, the Heritage Society will elect new trustees and share its accomplishments made in 2009.  This free program is open to the public.  For more information call the Heritage Society at 330-494-4791, open weekday mornings.
